To all my friends

Here's the scoop on my adventures in Louisiana. I have lived here in Monroe for a year with my wonderful husbands family. They have been very kind to me and taken me places all over the state. I have really enjoyed all the culture and meeting new people. My husband will be home from his tour in Korea February 1st and we will venture on to Rapid city, South Dakota. I am very excited because it will place me closer to my family and where I grew up half my life. I've been to Rapid a few times and I really liked it it there. It will definitely beat all these damn hurricanes and storms that have come our way here. I can't wait to have all of my belongings back and start a life again. Me and Jeremy have been apart for a year and we still have five more months left. We are on the last stretch of this journey and I hope and pray that it goes by fast so we can start back where we left off. Being separated for that long is really tough and I don't ever want to do it again. I know it's part of military life, but will it ever end? You would think growing up being a military brat I would be used to this type of life style but to be honest I don't want to get used to it anymore. I think it's gonna get worse before it ever gets better. Do we even know what our country is fighting for anymore? Anyways, I don't want to get started on all that crap because it puts a bad taste in my mouth. We just have to deal with it all one day at a time.

On a positive note.......... I do love my job at the Capital One Bank. I have met so many great people. I never thought I'd be working with money but so far it has been an awesome learning experience. I was so used to working with babies for 6 years. I do miss that job in many ways but I definitely do not miss all the bullshit and drama that came along with it. I'll get my baby fix somehow, especially since I have friends all over the world that are getting ready to have their own little bundles of joy. Can't wait!

That reminds me, I still have not met my nephew, who is by far the cutest little man you'll ever see. I will have to post some pictures of him. He is a doll and I love him to death. He will be turning two soon. I love you and miss you! I've been really home sick lately and I can't wait to see my family again in February. So mark it down on your calendars because I am headed your way.
